About Casteel Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electrical

Over the past 30 years, Casteel Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electrical has been one of the most respected names in metro Atlanta for heating and air conditioning. Bob Casteel developed this trust and reputation by providing world class service, offering high quality products at affordable prices and backing his work up with exceptional warranties.

Before all the trucks, the employees, and the reputation, Bob and Janis Casteel worked tirelessly to create a customer focused company. In 1987, they started the company with one small red service truck, an office and workshop in the basement of their home, and an advertising budget that included handing out business cards to neighbors. Today, our fleet of trucks and professionally trained NATE Certified technicians are dispatched all over metro Atlanta from our offices in Marietta. This type of growth and success is attributed to the thousands of loyal customers that believe in us. Thank you!

As Founder of Casteel Heating and Cooling Inc., Bob Casteel has spent twenty plus years developing the company’s name and reputation. His desire to personally impress each customer with world class service, high quality products, affordable prices and exceptional warranties will always be his legacy. John HillisJohn Hillis - President

As the son of Bob Casteel, John continues to run Casteel with the same integrity his father founded Casteel on.

After graduating from the University of Georgia in 1993, John went to work for one of the largest electronic component manufactures in the world. After ten years, and successfully running one of the largest accounts in the company, he decided it was time to travel less and join the family business. Since starting at Casteel, John has focused on the development of company processes, customer service, accounting and marketing the company.

John’s biggest passion is for implementing processes within the company. Coming from a large Japanese company that focused tirelessly on processes, John developed a true appreciation for the importance of procedures. John believes repetitive and clear directions benefits the employees and improves services to all customers.

In his free time, John enjoys spending time with his wife and two girls, fishing, UGA football games and relaxing.
